I did not know what an abridged version of a book was until now. I’m extremely disappointed that huge sections of this book were cut out. I thought I was buying an entire book.

Misleading

The addition of music to this reading at intervals made it difficult to listen to the story at times. More annoying though was the reader not pausing between passages of the book. This made it hard to follow scene changes and change of narrator and actually detracted from the story making it unenjoyable to listen to.

A pity the whole book was not here. I enjoyed this book originally in paperback and would like a kindle version too and thought the audio book seemed a good compromise. Not so glad now. Just glad it was purchased using one of my credits.

Some missing chapters

It’s beyond me how Audible allow a partial book to be for sale on this platform? Waste of a credit just to hear 6 lousy chapters. Lucky I have a hard copy so I could physically review the book. But again, defeats the purpose of me purchasing the book as an audio book.
