Publisher's Summary

He was not sure what he had been looking for. He only knew that he had not found it.

Shadow Moon has been away from America for nearly two years. His nights are broken with dangerous dreams. Sometimes he almost believes he doesn't care if he ever returns home.

In the Highlands of Scotland, where the sky is pale white and it feels as remote as any place can possibly be, the beautiful and the wealthy gather at a grand old house in the glen. And when the strange local doctor offers him work at the party, Shadow is intrigued. He knows there is no good reason for him to be there. So what do they want with him?

Great story

I didn’t realise that this story was in the book fragile things. Which I had read Previously.
I wouldn’t of ordered this book had I realised.
Never mind alway a pleasure to listen to Neil Gaiman’s voice.

Great quick read

Only downside is the length. Really wanted to be surrounded by Shadows world again and it was over too soon.

Further Adventures of Shadow Moon

Just long enough to be satisfying but still leave you wanting more... the melifluous tone of Gaiman is heaven to hear, and these little journeys of Shadow after American Gods are a treasure...

The perfect gift to a American Gods fanboy

You have read (and /or listened to) American Gods over and over. What now?

This excellent shot story pics you up from the sense of hopeless curiosity. What became of shadow? The book is a glimpse of what came next. It has all the vibrant space, imagination, landscape and fluidity of time that makes Neil Gaiman’s stories impossible to put down.

Listen to it, read it, spend a moment back in the world that is all we can see and all that we can not.

A solid 12 out of 10

Monsters of the Glen.

Neil Gaiman takes further into Shadow’s journey. In Scotland he has a glimpse into a history rarely talked about. The fight between humanity and the myths we’ve created. Or did we? Did the myths create us?
