Story
Do you love yourself? Most people have never even asked themselves that question, let alone know how to answer it. This is because we live under a modern plague, where masses struggle to love themselves as God loves them. Very few understand how to love themselves in a healthy way and have no tools to break free from the resistance that blocks them. Jesus said that we are to love our neighbor as ourselves.

If I asked you to name your favorite things - the things you love - how long would it take for you to name yourself? If you’re anything like me, you’ve tried to love God and love others without thinking too much about yourself. Wanting to avoid self-centeredness, I doubted myself and condemned myself - I even hated myself - until I noticed the ancient words of Mark 12:31: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” A gentle whisper led me in a new direction, and everything in my life began to change.

Talk is cheap, and so is a profession of faith apart from repentance. But we live in a day when people put more stock in a once-said prayer than a life reflective of a renewed heart. Taking Matthew 7:13-27 as his text, Paul Washer reminds us of Jesus' insistence that his way is narrow and that its travelers will bear good fruit and rest on the solid foundation of God's word.

How might our wills be changed so that we become both willing and able to do what God asks of us? In Desiring God's Will, psychologist and spiritual director David G. Benner explores the transformation of the will in Christian spirituality.

The Missing Commandment
Dear Denise and Jerry,
What a wonderful, enlightening, beautiful book of knowledge and wisdom you have created. Your book brought light back into my soul. The child I lost at 4 yrs old, is being released, that 50 years ago and she is beautiful, timid but finding herself and happiness again. This was the book I needed. This was the book that let me understand myself and gods love for me.
Thank you for putting love back into my life!
Eternal love and blessings to you both.
