A wonderful re-imaging of the classic fairytale. Ceinwen describes the French setting beautifully. Definitely not a fast paced story, but fans of this genre will love the slow burn.

Beautifully described - I was transported straight into the not-too-distant past of France. With plenty of emotion and just a hint of fantasy (and some very cute owls) this was certainly another standout novel.
