Summary

What a great book. I loved it. You can be so engrossed in the truly excellent narration but really feel like you are truly listening to the thoughts and memories of an elephant. Great concept. In this book you will hear both the worst that human beings can do to other species but also the best. Despite the moments of shame and empathy I felt for the elephant narrator, I found it an enjoyable, thought provoking and ultimately uplifting book.
