Unedited audio ruins last hour of recording , disappointing
I found I couldn’t concentrate on the conclusion of the novel. Louise Cooper’s finale was ruined by the narrator. The last hour of the recording is filled every 2-3 sentences with “sorry .... dammit.... sorry... too tired... let me go back a couple of sentences.. sorry... I’m back from my phone call from mommy... “. The narrator must have said dammit 4 times and sorry more than 10. It is so disappointing that the production company would try to sell unedited garbage like this. Hopefully a better recording can be found for this interesting series.
In this novel Tarod heads to the isle of the gods of order in an attempt at ask for their mercy and aid to prevent the return of chaos. The ending of the book is really interesting. But the unedited recording makes it hard to concentrate on what Louise has to say. If Louise Cooper heard this recording I’m sure she would be crying.

Editor need to be fired
What did you love best about The Master?
This is one of my favorite story and they mess up the end! The first and second book have some misspellings and misreading but they can go along with the story. The first complain was in 2016 and still nobody fixed the end! The last two chapters are awful narrater and they forgot to edit them! I can believe that after 2 years still remain unedited. Im so disappointed.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Master?
what it is more important: the individual or the group?
What didn’t you like about Megan Mateer’s performance?
They should redo her performance. I can appreciate that in the first book she read like she has never do this job before. In the second book you can heard her improvements in the performance. But it is in the third book where you can heard her confidence reading the story. So now, with the experience that she have grown up can do it again much better.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I have learned more from this trilogy than from some philosophical books. These books changed my religion perspective when I was 16 and still is one of my favorite trilogy.
Any additional comments?
REDO THE PERFORMANCE PLEASE! WE DESERVE TO HAVE A GREAT LISTENING! THANKS

Editor needs a good firing but the story is great
The story is awesome. This is still one of my go-to series that I reread about once every five years or so. The narrator is not bad at all, other than how often she mispronounces words from time to time that would be easy enough to look up. The editor seems to have barely done his or her job. At one point, in the last chapter, the narrator stumbles and restarts something like 30 or 40 times--even stopping to answer her phone at one point--and the editor failed to cut those out.

they forgot to edit
There are a ton of outtakes at the end of this recording. Great story, though.

Last Chapter ruined by continuous mistakes
Was the narrator drunk? Or was there no editor to take out her MANY mistakes. The last chapter of any book should be climatic.. which is impossible when the narrator is messing up words, sentences, receiving phone calls, and having coughing fits EVERY other sentence. Then she continues by starting said sentences all over again. I LOVE this trilogy, so the writing is great, and up until the last chapter it was read fine as well. It just wasn't the best way to finish a trilogy you have loved most of you're life.
Oh and what happened to the Epilogue? I had to find my original copy to finish it.

Editors Failed
Story is great, but the editors failed to clean up the audio. Lots of the narrator, especially in the last 30 minutes, making mistakes starting over and getting annoyed with herself. The 3 stars are less for the narrator and more for the lack of editing.

what?
I felt like this was some kind of bad joke at the end of this book. Redo this or you should be refunding people.

favorite tale but poorly edited
Audible please have audio engineers take a listen through stories before publishing. I accept the occasional slip or mispronounced word getting through but it got a bit ridiculous. The narrator gave plenty of lead so slips could be cut but I don't think any were.
The narrator has a great voice but not quite the right one for these books. The mid-sentence breaks would throw me out of the story.
The story itself was better than I remembered although the ending was a bit more sappy.
Still I'm glad this was brought to audible and hope to listen to others by the author in the future.

Lazy editing in the last chapter
The narrator was great, but it was like a raw cut in the last chapter. It ruined a great ending to a great story. I hope they fix it. It was like a flippin blooper reel.

Worst narrating ever!
The book itself was ok, if you liked the previous ones then I'd suggest it. But the narration, although without issues until the final chapters, really skids off the rails then. Several mistakes followed by "Dammit!", coughing fits, an apology that she's tired, even a call from Mummy! It was very difficult to get through it...

Excellent story but spoilt by narration
Excellent story but spoilt by poor narration in the final chapters of this book. I will not buy an audio book that is narrated by this person again.

Classic
Better than I remembered. Much better.
Thank you Audible and Megan Mateer, very much appreciated. Your tiredness in the last chapter made me chuckle.
