Publisher's Summary

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful green witch. She blew into my life every bit as wild as the storm magic that lived within my veins. My heart had been nothing but a lifeless organ within my chest until she breathed life back into me, ensuring that each beat from that moment forward was for her.

Saige Wildes was everything good. Sun-kissed freckles in the summer, hair that shimmered like fire when touched by light, and a smile that brought six men to their knees. Her magic was the magic of life.

Of love.

Of sacrifice.

With Asrael’s master plan falling into place, my brave little witch had to fight for her life and everyone she loved. On the brink of losing it all and forced to make an impossible decision, she heard the stars whisper, "What do you want"? My sweet mate stared back at the fates and screamed her greatest desire.

Eternity.

I wanted to like it

I started the series because of the promise of spicy RH romance including MM scenes. Although there are a couple of scenes, this book turns into an r rated after school special.

Exciting Series

This was a great series; hate to see it end. The characters and storyline were well developed and interesting. So much of it made me laugh, the banter between characters was priceless. Can’t say enough about two of my favorite narrators. They made this series fun to listen to.

Not only a fantastic (and hilarious)...

This was not only a fantastic (and hilarious) listen, it also brings attention to serious issues like mental health...as well as continually advocating just plain being a good human being. If you are a fan of fantasy, RH romance, or both...this series is a great choice!

Love the narrators!

This was the best or second best of the series for me. I, absolutely, adore Napoleon he is one of my favorite background characters of all time, Jakes narration of him was the best! Faris is another character I can't get enough of.

The story itself was good. I found myself bored from the main story plot. I had to rewind often because my mind was drifting off, often.

Overall, the writing and interest factor increased as each book continued.

why did it end like that?

I listened to all 5 books. The story is amazing and the performance was perfect! I love the powerfully female main character and the amazing details. however that was a very abrupt ending with many questions. I'm super bummed about it and was so eager to hear more to the story.

Beautiful

Loved it, I was either laughing, really pissed off or crying. Audio books definitely make cooking and cleaning a lot more enjoyable.

What an Amazing Story!!!

I think this is one of the purest, best mixed, most humorous RH’s that I have read. I love how they are all intertwined and coexisting. Great action too!!! A must have for any RH collection to be complete.

Fun listen - pay attention to trigger warnings

This series is a kinky, cute, polyamorous romance that deals with some serious real life issues. If things like breeder plots, mental health crises, sexual assault, epically bad parenting, chosen families versus birth families, etc. are triggers, this might not be the series for you.

So sad to see this end!

I absolutely loved this series and cannot get enough of it. I am hoping we maybe see some cameos from our favs in the next series that was teased in this book with the masked mystery men haha. I am wondering if the leading lady will be a certain sister or the friend of Hunter's from the agency. I want to see more of Hunter, so I am hoping maybe he will be in the next series too!

In terms of story, I am not going to give away anything because this series deserves not to be spoiled. I loved the amount of ache in this book. I liked that it was a big build up and that the battle and rescue wasn't a quick thing. Also, we got so much more after the big showdown, it made me so happy to see that longer epilogue/well-rounding of the story and their family unit. The author hits on some really tough topics in this one and does a great job not playing it down (in terms of Saige after the birth). I thought the issues Fischer went through was tragic and so horrible, total mindf. I will say I wasn't 100% happy with how that was resolved. I know things had to be ok to move on as a family, but why bring it up when it could like easily be removed. I loved the dragons and cool things brought up in this book and I would love to see more of them. I loved the side characters again in this story, a certain mouse totally stole the show. And oh my goodness I almost peed myself with some of Faris' antics hahaha. It was gut wrenching when he realizes it wasn't all a test for him and the others had to reassure him. And the almost goodbye and the knitting! Ok no more from me haha. The reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is because I got confused with the ending. Something didnt seem right with the flow and explanation and then it all of a sudden it was over. It just felt rushed and not fleshed out in terms of the actual resolution. The battle and build-up before that was fabulous. I did love see everyone get what was coming to them though hahaha.

Narration was the best in this one. I still think both narrators could be stronger doing the opposite gender (more so Jake and female voices). I thought the heartbreak, anguish, triumph, love, etc was perfectly portrayed and bleed from the pages and words spoken. I thought this epitomized the series and really brought the characters to life. The side characters (and their different forms), the love with Kohl and his leading lady, the exiled's quirky and mysterious (and dangerously sexy), the humor from Faris and Napoleon. Splendid job, so happy to have listened to this whole series ❤️❤️❤️

10000% recommend this paranormal RH. It has everything you could ask for in a series. Humor, romance, tension, anguish, action, mystery. So good 🥰
