About this listen
Ayla
My wings were ready to fly, but he clipped them. Feather by feather, until I had nothing left.
Then my savior came.
He waged a bloodbath to find me. He loves me. He wants his Angel to be free. But how can I fly again when my wings are broken?
Alessio
This war isn’t over. If he thought he could break her and just disappear, he was wrong. I am going to find him and break him like he broke her.
I made a vow to my Angel.
I promised to let her fly...I promised to save her soul.
And I never break my vows.

Loved this series
Deliciously dark mafia story. Sexually charged and incredibly romantic. Alessio & Ayla’s story was full of ups and downs, I found myself laughing and crying for them. Narration was good but could have been better if there were a male and female narrator.

Bit lengthy
This was great, the anguish of her being captured, how utterly disgusting that was, the strength Ayla possessed to survive it, I loved the angst and heartache. Alessio going crazy trying to find his love, the men loosing their minds too - brilliant.
Ayla's journey back into the world of living was inspirational. Hated the whole Nina thing again - don't know if I was on board with that.
Then it was sweet. Maybe too sweet for too long? Was the word 'princess' said one (or 100) too many times? Probably.
Am I being ridiculously picky because usually I'm annoyed that the epilogue is a romp and here I got a whole story? Most likely. I think I wanted more of a battle for dominance. I enjoyed the torture, but wanted more of a bloodbath between the families I think. Also if it was going to be dragged out so much and Ayla was the queen could she not have had more of a role?
Anywho, it was super sweet, well worth the read.
