This was a fun and easy to fall into story. The characters were easy to relate to and the story was written well that the progession of character development seemed natural.
as always, Lori Prince was a great choice for narrator and her souther accents are a hoot!

I have come to expect a certain level of creativity, originality, witty humour, charming, expressive, and diverse original characters. As with all Robyn's books that are narrated by Lori I was unable to stop listening. I loved being pulled into yet another love story that had me totally invested in the quirky characters of White Oak Lake. If your looking for a feel good story filled with wacky characters, strong independent women and a truck load of hilarious moments that will have you belly laughing listen to The lure of White Oak Lake.

Robin Alexander writes brilliantly witty, sentimental, southern romances that you can listen to over and over. This one is about finding your one true place in life. Returning to her father’s old cabin in Louisiana, Morgan finds the solace she was seeking and the forever love she didn’t expect, in a small lakeside town full of incredibly quirky people. Woven into the beautiful landscape is a story of finding a place to call home with a wonderful woman and her teenage son. The characters are so beautifully written and the situations so uniquely hilarious that you will return many times to White Oak Lake.

I stumbled across this audiobook and I'm so glad I did. The characters really were great and I honestly loved every minute of this! Highly recommend

Characters are wonderful and an absolute riot!! Robin writes the best old characters, so funny, meddling and fun. Bring on book 2 to my TBR!

I didnt know what to expect here but the 4.8 stars and Lori as narrator had me thinking it must be good. Well it was such an entertaining listen, it got me laughing while going through a really tough time. Lori's narration was amazing, with all the voices and accents, she really nailed the brief! 100% recommended.

This book had me laughing and giggling and rooting for them to get together, even though I knew they would. The characters were absolutely funny and even though I’m not a fan of Lori Prince I have to say she is actually pretty good damn it. Definitely worth a listen or two as I can’t stop listening to it I enjoyed it that much
