Wonderful original story

Charming story. I think this would make a lovely movie. The narration is quite good in terms of portraying the characters’ emotions, but falls down on the American accents, which is a slight pity. Well read, however, and really doesn’t detract from the story itself.

Fantastic and heart wrenching. A story of love, loss and destiny. Author Kathryn Hughes interweaves stories that span generations. I'm now going to buy every book she's written.
