About this listen

Experience the horror. Survive the madness. Join The Last Wardens.

Bleakwood, Oregon—once a sleepy, forgotten town—has become ground zero for an unspeakable horror. When Danielle Pryer’s long-lost brother, Bruce, returns from the Vietnam War carrying a monstrous mutation, reality itself begins to unravel. Vines turn to veins, brick to bone, and the laws of physics become mere suggestions. But Bleakwood’s nightmare is just beginning.

Enter The Last Wardens—a ragtag band of dysfunctional misfits, bound not by duty, but by desperation. Led by the enigmatic and unpredictable Riddle (Felicia Day), this team of barely-held-together creatures, survivors, and cynics are humanity’s last defense against a cosmic force older than time itself. From flesh-warping dimensional rifts to grotesque mutations lurking in the dark, they’re the only thing standing between Earth and annihilation.

Danny (Anjali Bhimani), a resourceful sharpshooter with nothing left to lose, is thrust into the chaos, forced to navigate the dangerous world of the Wardens, where trust is a luxury and survival is an art form. Alongside the volatile, tentacle-wielding Worm (Mark Meer), the shadow-wracked Cyra (Shiva Negar), and the stone-skinned behemoth Bricks, Danny must uncover the dark secrets behind her brother’s transformation—before it's too late.

Blending nostalgic adventure, dark humor, and pulse-pounding action, The Last Wardens Full-Cast Audio Drama delivers a thrilling mix of comic book fantasy and supernatural intrigue.

interesting world

I feel this would have benefited from having an external narrator, I found it hard to keep up with what was happening from scene to scene, some moments felt like just endless sound effects and I had to guess what I was meant to be envisioning.

However the voice acting was excellent and the world they've created it very interesting.
