Publisher's Summary

Two hundred years have passed since The Constitution was destroyed on national television. Jack Madison, a direct descendant of James Madison who was a founding father must now repatriate the destroyed pieces. After his tent city is burned to the ground by The Slavers, a vicious conquering tribe who sell children at the auctions. Jack and his brother Toby must head into the North Lands to escape them.

The North Lands are full of slaver tribes, wild animals, looters, and other dangers. If the brothers are to survive, they must conquer their fear, align with as many friendlies as possible if they are to survive. Once all the pieces have been found, they must reinstall a new government run solely by young people. Adults always mess things up.

Timely, relevant novel; great for Young Adults

In a world where the Constitution is being eroded by our leaders, this novel shows us a future without it. Wonderfully written, and good narration.

The Constitution

It’s a post apocalyptic America, destroyed by wars. The country is divided in tribes, including the slavers and takers, who prey on the other tribes. Follow Jack, his kid brother, Toby and others as they fight to survive, but also as they try to reassemble the Constitution, long lost. There’s plenty of adventure, but also good life lessons as well as information about the U.S, Constitution. Kudos to Walt for great story telling.

Great book, Narrator is awesome

I always heard that everything get’s lost in the shuffle, so if it never gets another review, at least it did with the author. Thank you if you get this title, I hope it brings you as much pleasure as it did for me writing it.
