Great story about his time on the trail, with a huge bonus. He ends the book by following up the hikers he met along the way and telling the stories of how it affected them and how they adjusted to life after the trail, which is something I always wonder about, It's one of most significant parts of any long distance journey so it was great to find a book that didn't just stop at the finish line.

A very enjoyable and interesting yarn, in a series of yarns, thanks Fozzie. Very well read as always by Adam and full of situations, characters and experiences that I really enjoyed hearing, and helped me paint a mental picture of the PCT and all its challenges, as you went. Good job, well done ;-D

Enjoyed the book from start to finish. I thought Fozzie gave a realistic description of his fellow hikers and you almost felt like you knew them to an extent. Couldn't agree more with his summation of American hospitality, one of the more hospitable countries in the world. I will look forward to following another of his hikes.

Good Story

Great story and follow up at the end on different hikers. A little too much poop talk, and sometimes seemed to jump about a bit much at the beginning so wasn’t sure exactly where he was, but a great story of adventure and the friends he made along the way.

I’ve listened to Fossy’s hike of El Camino de Santiago so I am used to, and quite like his hiking style. The narrator takes a bit of getting used to as I find him to have a cynical intonation, but he is way less annoying than some!
