I had a hard time listening

I usually do not have trouble with the performance. I can slow down or speed up to suit my taste. The trouble I had was not the charaters quotations, it was the narration. The sentences all were strangely done in a cadence I did not enjoy. I listened to the whole book because it was part of the series but honestly wanted to quit early on and was glad when the story was done.

What a great story!

The story itself was fantastic and kept my entrees most all the way through with one exception. The little toddlers voice. It sounded like a woman, not a child at all. A child that young would have rarely spoken perfect English nor used so grown up of a tone or verbiage . It would have been so much better had the reader worked on a child like voice of a tiny little girl. The story would have been richer than what it was.

Good clean story

I enjoyed a good clean Christian romance. The writing is not super stellar but definitely above average. The performance was average at best but I could get used to it by the end of the story and not have it distract from my enjoyment of the narration.
