Any additional comments?

Amazing story. It was so hard to put it down. This book is totally worth the cost. I hope that this author turns the other books in this series into audio books as well. I would 100% recommend this story to others who like a good, clean romance, with suspense along the way of this amazing story.

I loved the story.

The story was great. but the narrator didn't get the voices of the different characters right. She was very articulate.

Heartwarming Story!

I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful story that is narrated so well! The story is full of action as the characters face struggles. These struggles are conquered by their faith which fills them with the strength to carry on. Misty develops the storyline with skill as she weaves a plot full of characters that you love from the beginning. She has a great series going and I am looking forward to more of her books!

Sweet romance

Having read a number of Misty Beller's books, I was excited to be gifted a copy of the audiobook of The Lady and the Mountain Doctor. I thoroughly enjoyed the story. I enjoyed watching the relationship between Miriam and Alex begin and change throughout the story as they encountered so many struggles and dangers. Strong characters that are so likable, realistic situations, wonderfully descriptive scenes all work together for a delightful story. Threaded throughout the book also is a faith in God--the God who never leaves us alone and can bring peace in even the direst situations. I really enjoyed this book and will be looking for more from this author. Talmadge Ragan did a great job narrating Miriam and Alex's story, which made for an enjoyable listening experience. I received a complimentary copy of this book, and a favorable review was not required. The opinions are my own.

action packed & clumsy

I love a heroine who isn't good at everything, clumsy, and caring. The Christian story is amazing! I always feel the Lord's presence when I read a book like this. Nothing is greater! I wish people knew what they were missing in Christ. Plus you can't beat a guilt ridden doctor and a clumsy patient!

Lovely story, not so lovely narration

The story is so endearing. I fell in love with Alex. A humble doctor is so much more endearing than an arrogant one who believes he is invincible. Miriam is so typically human: always pushing boundaries set for our best. The narrator has a lovely voice. And the performance could have been very good, but somehow she tries to articulate certain words in a way that is so unnatural. I would rather have natural continuity than grammatically correct articulation.

Action Packed, Less Plot

I enjoy Beller’s books but the plots seem to be more melodrama and less plotted with interest. Good read, but...! In this audio book Reagan seems to read more than narrate.

Narration ruined this book

I’m happy with the gentle story writing of Misty Beller. But this is the second book that had irritating narration. Ms. Ragan’s reading style was monotone and worse still she pronounced the consonants at the end of words very hard. Many times double. Really! Burned-da or grabbed-da. She has a speech impediment of sorts as well. WHY!!!!
