Now I’m neck-deep in trouble with him, and every time I think I’ve figured out what’s really going on, Jakob reveals another piece of the puzzle. I need to figure out how far I’m willing to go to protect this town. How far I’m willing to go with Jakob. Because if I fall for him, there’s no going back. No hope for a peaceful ending. But Jakob is the kind of man who makes me think that peaceful is overrated, and that descending into darkness with him could lead to something even better than a Happily Ever After.

Good storyline
Really enjoyed this book. Good storyline, good performance with voices that match my visions. I need a part 2 though, I want to know what happens next!!

Best MC romance i have read in a while
Navessa Allen, brilliantly written had me hooked from the start. Loved how the narrators brought your words to life. Highly recommend... Christa and Jacob 5 stars

Awesome story and VAs!
I have quickly learnt that Navessa Allen is an Insta-buy author for me
I love her work and how it has a fantastic balance between humour, spice, and plot.
JF Harding and Andi Eloise were the perfect VAs for Jakob and Krista.
I loved every bit of this and ate it up!

Really enjoyed this audio book
Engaging and funny with a bit of spice chucked in. The narrators were fantastic. A fun spiced book with a twisty plot… also loved the ending

Love her writing
This book doesn’t grab you immediately but it gets going quickly and I love the chemistry between the leads funny and a good story

So glad you picked this project back up, Navessa! While not quite as fun and Lights Out (which, to be fair is hard to top) Krista and Jakob’s story is highly bingeable and left me wanting to know more about all the characters in Kearney! And that epilogue was chef’s kiss!

Sensational!
Navessa’s writing is fantastic!! The story full of so many twists and turns - Brilliant! The narration was fantastic!
The characters she writes specifically the women are who I want to be when I grow up!

Good plot but long winded
Loved the first book Lights Out by the same author but this one just missed the spot. Great plot but a lot of processing by the main character which made the story long winded.
