I have quickly learnt that Navessa Allen is an Insta-buy author for me
I love her work and how it has a fantastic balance between humour, spice, and plot.

JF Harding and Andi Eloise were the perfect VAs for Jakob and Krista.

I loved every bit of this and ate it up!

Not as good as Caught Out or Lights Off. Plot seemed very contrived and insignificant. Nursing home situation not exciting enough and female lead too wordy.

So glad you picked this project back up, Navessa! While not quite as fun and Lights Out (which, to be fair is hard to top) Krista and Jakob’s story is highly bingeable and left me wanting to know more about all the characters in Kearney! And that epilogue was chef’s kiss!
