Publisher's Summary

A legacy forged in blood and shrouded in nightmares.

With everyone she’s ever loved dead, Effie’s fate is no longer one of her choosing. Overnight, she becomes the newest initiate of the Keepers of Prophecy, a secret order that Sees what the future holds.

War looms for the land of Elysia, unless Effie can prevent it by harnessing her visions and interpreting their meaning. Yet as what she Sees becomes far more dark and sinister, she finds herself no closer to deciphering it.

Forced to rely on her tutor and Guardian, her inner turmoil deepens when feelings within herself—those she thought died with the man she loved—resurface. One man would give up everything to be with her. The other challenges her at every turn.

Struggling to focus amid her awakening desires, Effie fights to unravel the truth buried within her nightmares. Will she discover it in time to be the salvation Elysia needs...or will one wrong reading damn them all?

I was not ready for this epic Romantasy

I knew this was going to be A LOT but I was STILL NOT ready!

I’ve not dipped my toes into fantasy all that much – I’m a Vampire-Witch Hybrid kinda gal and revel and relish in ALL the goodness that world brings, but the epic gravitational force of deliciousness that is The Keeper’s Legacy pulled me in and I was lost in the one of the most action packed, epic slow burn Fantasy romances since Undercover Magic.
Yes that is a big call: I said what I said and you can’t change my mind!

I am a massive fan of Meg Anne and that series blew me away and I loved beyond love Bound By Danger #FinelyForever – so please know that The Keeper’s Series is up there. Add Shane East and Stella Hunter to the mix and you know when these 3 amazing talented geniuses get to together, you can be certain epic things are going to happen: add James Joseph to the mix and this series is off the charts exceptional!

Did I mention this audio is performed in DUET? THE best audio experience known to us “Audibly Addicted” types ;) it does not get any better: truly!

The Keeper’s legacy has it all: action, adventure, mystical magic, emotions, darkness, angst, the thrills and boy oh boy does it have the chills: I was not ready for #ScaryCreepyShane I tell you.

Look there is some graphic gory stuff – check out the trigger warnings before you dive in: for me it’s not necessary, but I love that Meg Anne is considerate in that way always!

Stella is the perfect Effie: our bad-ass feisty and courageous heroine that wears her heart on her sleeve: the gifted ‘keeper’ trying to save her world and learn he special gifts. Stella’s accent work in this is beyond amazing and demonstrates how talented she is with her British accents.

Shane portrays Effie’s Guardian : Lucian perfectly: as well as many other characters including the other Guardian Kael with his scorching hot Scottish accent is probably my favourite – Shane’s accent work is brilliant. Not to mention all the scary and creepy characters – which I was not really prepared for – his depth and range is unsurpassed: there is a reason he has won awards and remains the ever popular ‘voice we love to take to bed’: he really is that talented.

James portrayal of Kieran is perfection: along with his other creepy characters and he kicks us off in this series as her does much of the heavy lifting in the prequel: The Dreamer which is included in this audiobook provides an in depth background into Kieran and Effie I must admit, I did start developing a soft spot for him initially. Kieran is Effie’s teacher but he has deep feelings for Effie and has done so since the beginning, and so begins this deliciously tumultuous slow burn triangle of forbidden love and I am so here for it.

The slow burn is excruciatingly delicious and is becoming something I expect from Meg Anne, but I love the slow burns the most: they are usually the ones that mark your soul and never leave you: and boy has this book marked by soul – the sparks between Effie and Lucian grow from molecular to atomic and I am so here for it: Shane and Stella are simply magical especially in Meg Anne’s romantic-fantasy or roman-tasy worlds. I found myself cheering them on while at the same time, I sympathise with Kieran, although his petulance does make me want to give him a pinch and that’s a testament to the talented performance and acting prowess of James Joseph: as we see a glimmer of softness to Lucian, a hardness is developing in Kieran and I cannot wait to find out what happens to his character journey as we progress.

Overall I loved this book and loving being swept up in the magic that this fab-four are bringing to us super fan-girls of audio.
