About this listen

The reality that I had a life-changing encounter with Yahweh on the evening of June 14th, 1970, is something worth repeating. The truth is, life-changing does not begin to speak to what happened.

As I reflect back over the past five plus decades of service to the King and His domain, I attribute the early years of my walk with the Sovereign, with the son I am still becoming today. Simply put, I gave myself to prayer and the word from day one.

I still remember taking a pack of Kool cigarettes out of my shirt pocket and replacing it with a Baby Blue, Gideon New Testament. I immediately began to read, study, and pray at every possible moment.

“When seeking first the Kingdom becomes our priority, everything we lack will make its way into our lives.”

Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.

(Every good thing...Every perfect gift!)
