Jenna's book is absolutely beautiful. The writing is deliciously descriptive, transporting you directly to Italy.
The audio is beautifully paced and the characterisation is perfect.

Really enjoyed this book. It is more nuanced and beautiful, it has romance, a bit of drama and is a well thought out book, I think the feeling of romance is split between the beauty of the parts of Italian culture, life and language and the main characters journey to finding themselves and each other. It is a very interesting premise, does love have to come before marriage, or can a marriage and marriage in principle foster a deeper connection, love and respect for each other. Smiled in the last few chapters, I love me a good ending! Thoroughly enjoyable listen and I can’t wait to read the authors other books.

This was the most cringey read I’ve come across and I normally like romantic novels. The protagonist is perfect in every way, capable of everything, no flaws, and it was painful.
