A timeless classic, that still can gain laughs.

This play, when looked at in the time it originally was performed, must have indeed caused a stir in higher society, as it ridicules all the things the Ton holds near.
However, it is very entertaining, to today's audiences, in the puns it so subtlety delivers.

Christopher Hurt it.

RIP words, phrases, sentences. All dead on delivery.
The cane toads in my backyard have better Upper Class English accents.

Christopher Hurt Never disappoints

The writing is that of quality, but the characters lack principles. The play is said to be a comedy, but I felt distain towards the characters as they were uptight and more concerned with others thoughts than their own.

Classic tongue and cheek

i can't help but wonder on Mr Wilde 's undercurrents, the morale fabric of Victorian society and just plain speculation. ...funny to the quick.

awful awful awful

an American with an American accent attempting wilde. what a joke. not worth listening to. avoid at all costs if you appreciate quality narration (even within the limitations of his language he's a p*ss poor narrator). audible should warn people of the nationality of the narrator- it matters in an audio only environment.
