**SOON TO BE A MAJOR APPLE TV SERIES**

What if you could change husbands as easily as a lightbulb?

One night Lauren finds a strange man in her flat who claims to be her husband. All the evidence – from photos to electricity bills – suggests he’s right. And then another one appears. Lauren’s attic, she slowly realises, is creating an endless supply of husbands for her. There’s:

The one who’s too hot (there must be a catch).
The one who pretends to play music on her toes.
The one who can calm her unruly thoughts with a single touch.

But when you can change husbands as easily as changing a lightbulb, how do you know whether the one you have now is the good-enough one, or the wrong one, or the best one? And how long should you keep trying to find out?

A witty, ingenious debut novel… An enormously entertaining story that is both silly and sophisticated (Johanna Thomas-Corr)
Properly laugh-out-loud funny, this was one of the most original novels I’ve read in years
Filled with clever observations on love and life, [The Husbands] is also laugh-out-loud funny (Anna Bonet)
A riot . . . a smart, witty satire about the the illusion of choice . . . It’s clever and silly and funny and wildly imaginative and I bloody loved it (PANDORA SYKES)
Funny, fresh... an absolute riot, just one of the best books I've read in long time (THE UNMUMSY MUM)
Laugh-out-loud funny while deeply thoughtful this is a wonderful wonderful novel (JENNIE GODFREY, author of THE LIST OF SUSPICIOUS THINGS)
One of the funniest debuts for years... Holly Gramazio has not only come up with the most ingenious conceit, she has summoned the humour and sophistication to pull it off... a brilliant satire on the Tinder generation's commitment issues (Johanna Thomas-Corr)
I loved everything about it (Sara Lawrence)
Laugh-out-loud funny, perceptive and utterly original, I guarantee you’ve never read a book quite like it
Holly Gramazio's tight prose, sarcastic wit and knack for weaving a tender, hilarious story sets this novel apart

Reminded me of the Midnight Library, great story and interesting character development, the narration was great too.

Excellent story

I loved the authentic accents- especially the Australian one. The plot was good. The ending was a bit too quick for my liking- after a long, long detailed description of many of the events in the first 9/10ths of the book, it all ended quite abruptly imo so seemed like it just needed to be over.

Great concept and fun at times.

So good! The characters are so loveable and relatable, and yet also just a little fantastical.
There were moments where I was so involved that I didn't realise I was holding my breathe. And the ending is actually really good, even though I could have read for longer!

Original and Brilliant

Couldn't put this down'. Devoured it in a couple of days and enjoyed every second. Warm and humorous, great story (with The Midnight Library vibes), fantastic narration and overall just a real gem of a book.

Loved, loved, loved everything about it!
