A sweet little story but a lot of mystery that leads to nothing much.

I think this book was suggested to me in the context of the fantasy genre, but it's not what this is. Just a human family drama with a bit of mystery & a lot of clocks. Still, an enjoyable way to pass the time. The narrator is pretty good. Her voice on some of the younger characters and the parrot becomes a bit grating. I've heard her on other, grittier, adult books and she was more nuanced.
