About this listen

All roads lead home....

When Holly Dryden fled Penhallow Sands nearly a year ago she was determined to put the past - and Rich Turner - behind her. But now an unexpected loss and financial trouble has led her back to the family vineyard, and it’s time to tell Rich the truth - he’s a father.

Surrounded by the memories of what they once shared, Holly’s anger fades in the glow of Rich’s undeniable love for their son and the way he selflessly steps in to help the vineyard out of trouble. As Holly watches Rich flourish in his new role as father to baby Luke, she realises that though they can’t change the past, the future is still theirs to write....

An uplifting, emotional Cornwall-set romance perfect for fans of Holly Martin and Phillipa Ashley.

a bit predictable, did not explain enough why Rich mother would have turned I n her so fiercely

I am usually a lover of these type of books written in these lovely English countrysides. Unfortunately I found this dull and mundane- nothing really happened to give it any sense of interest.

So much was repetitive, like I was listening to a podcast and was coming in at various episodes. If I had a dollar for every time Holly reminded us that "now she is a mother".

I disliked Holly's character. She was self centred and lacked compassion, however was made out to be the best woman in the world. Grannie I lived, she was cool but pandered too much to her granddaughter, bit did hit her with a good life lessons at one point. Fran was in the book for what reason? Her character line was, well, nothing. Maybe she is a main character in future books of the series. I guess I won't be finding out.

Not my favourite

I turned this up as fast as I could to get to the end. It goes around and around, based on one decision. Very predictable and nice and neat. The narrator did a good Australian accent. Is she from Aus?

Dull

I stuck with it but spent alot of time rolling my eyes as the ‘storyline’ was predictable and virtually nonexistent - nothing actually happened and it just went on and on and on…..

A long uninteresting and repetitive listen
