Immersive storytelling at its best

I was swept into the world of Holmes and Watson fully with this dramatisation. Stephen Fry is what attracted my attention to listening, but all of the actors and foley artists had me hooked.

Great listen!

Stephen Fry makes everything better! We'll acted by all without being overly overdramatic. Wouldn't classify it as a horror though.

Don’t like the dumbing down of Dr Watson

This is one of my favourite Holmes story. The adaptation is pretty decent with a good cast. What I don’t like is how the Holmes and Watson characters are portrayed as extreme versions of themselves. Almost a caricature of the two. Other adaptations have done a better job with drawing out their uniqueness without making either or both unpalatable!
Also didn’t like the addition of the Mother Greep character. Another example of an extreme stereotype.
