I really wish the author would finish this trilogy. It’s absolutely beautifully written. To have the next two ‘The Seeker’ and ‘The soul’ would just make this my all time favourite series, including Harry Potter!

I didn’t think I would enjoy this audiobook so much!

Stephanie Meyer has such an incredible imagination and we are so fortunate that she is able to put it into perfect words and give us wonderful stories.

This genre was a little different to what I’m used to but I couldn’t stop listening. The narrator was totally excellent and considering there were so many different characters and protagonists, she made the experience all the better.

The story had everything… friendship, love, hate, racism, reverse racism, bigotry, revenge, remorse, dedication.

I highly recommend this wonderful piece of work.

My favourite writer

I find it really hard to listen to this. It sounds like a 50 year old voicing a character that is 20, it really doesn't fit, and the male characters just sound odd. it's Preety disappointing because I love this book. I know it would be hard to get a voice actor to match each character, but they missed it with the main character.

Loved the story. I found it surprisingly effective, told from the point of view of one of the alien species... gave an interesting perspective on the right and wrongs of the invasion. Really impressive and enjoyable.
Narrator was a bit average and the voices she did for the characters quickly started to irritate. Not enough to abandon it completely but if I ever come back to the story I'll be reading the book myself next time.
