Story
Max Remus couldn't care less about finding his mate—unlike the rest of his fate-obsessed pack. He totally prefers hanging with his bestie, eating his dad's steak sandwiches, and drawing in his trusty sketchbook. But all that is about to change at the Blue Moon Festival—a summer camp where Elite Pack wolves go to find their mates. The festival is a rite of passage for every teen werewolf, and this year's festival will be one to howl home about. The alpha's son, Jasper Apollo, is attending for the first time.

Story
Twelve-year-old Sophie has never quite fit into her life. She’s skipped multiple grades and doesn’t really connect with the older kids at school, but she’s not comfortable with her family, either. The reason? Sophie’s a Telepath, someone who can read minds. No one knows her secret - at least, that’s what she thinks.... But the day Sophie meets Fitz, a mysterious (and adorable) boy, she learns she’s not alone. He’s a Telepath too, and it turns out the reason she has never felt at home is that, well...she isn’t. Fitz opens Sophie’s eyes to a shocking truth....

Publisher's Summary
Penguin presents the unabridged, downloadable audiobook edition of The Hidden Oracle: The Trials of Apollo, Book One, by Rick Riordan, read by Robbie Daymond.
How do you punish an immortal?
By making him human.
After angering his father, Zeus, the god Apollo is cast down from Olympus. Weak and disorientated, he lands in New York City as a regular teenage boy.
Now, without his godly powers, the 4,000-year-old deity must learn to survive in the modern world until he can somehow find a way to regain Zeus' favour. But Apollo has many enemies - gods, monsters and mortals who would love to see the former Olympian permanently destroyed.
Apollo needs help, and he can think of only one place to go: an enclave of modern demigods known as Camp Half-Blood.

Kasty
The Book is fantastic, full of adventure and excitment, but the voice of the reader is soft and unexpressive. Nothing was exciting, not even the return of Leo. It killed the story.

Fantastic narrator for interesting tale!
Robbie Daymond was the perfect narrator for this story. Robbie's performance perfectly portrays the duality of Apollo and give complexity and heart to a beautifully written character and story. Looking forward to reading more!

Not the best start 2 a series but pretty damn good
At around the 3 hours to go mark of the audio file I was warried there was no way the Autor wasn't going to tie up the main story line & it'd end on a cliff-hanger to be completed in the next book, but I needn't have worried :) Side note: I Want to take in Meg... badly (As if I didn't already hate her Godly mother Mythologically speaking already! 2 faced hypocrite!) Decent start to a series
