It’s not often you get a book of that eliminates the fluff and gets straight to the point. You can tell he’s a military man with the way he’s outlined his ideas and lessons. There’s a mental model called Commanders intent which explains that no plan survives contact with the enemy, and so with every message you need to find the core of the idea, set the goal, and highlight the most important message or goals. Admiral William H. McRaven did exactly that. Well done sir.

Interesting, straight to the point

Most books seem to have lulls where the story does not continue to hit the high points of the message. Herein lies a lesson for authors and life itself from the author. Great message and life lesson examples. Highly recommended and well done.
