My husband wasnt a big reader till I bought him an audio book of yours. Since then he has listened to all your audio books. we travelled from perth to kunnanara and on the way home we downloaded this book on my phone . well it took us two days and an all nighter to get from cable beach to perth and ur book was on the whole time . This is the first story I have listened to of yours and I loved it . We both did. you had us enthralled from the beginning and I juat fell in love with CJ and lucky ..Also the shampoo stealing brother as ive done the same on this trip ! We really enjoyed this book and cant wait for your next one ...

first Matthew Reilly book I've read. I can see why his novels at aree popular with teenage boys. Plenty blood and guts. action and suspense.

This is the first book I have read by Matthew Reilly and it didn't disappoint! I found the start of the book a little slow as the story builds but then without warning, it takes off and turns into non stop action until the end. If I had to criticise anything, I fell out of the story briefly towards the end where a couple of scenes seemed a bit too Hollywood. I also felt as though it could have been slightly toned down in some areas to have an even greater effect. Overall though a great read/ listen

Having already read the hard copy for The great zoo of china I couldn't help myself when looking for an audio book to listen to at work. All the action, twists and turns kept me always on my feet even when knowing what was coming next. Matthew does an excellent job of bringing all the characters to life and having a female lead topped it off. Of all his books this is by far my favourite!
