Would you consider the audio edition of The Good Hustle to be better than the print version?

It is such a good listen although I would constantly pause and transcribe quotes that excited, inspired or moved me... I think I nearly wrote myself a print version by the end...

What does Dr Polly McGee bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

I love when authors narrate their own book.. it always seems to make everything sound more authentic and honest. Polly is easy to listen too, funny and charming.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No because you need time to reflect on so much of this book - I will listed to it again and again though!

I loved this book so much - It couldn't have found me at a better time and it has ignited something inside me that has been both comforting and challenging. The best addition to my business library so far. It is so lovely to hear a book that combines business + spirituality written and narrated by an Aussie woman. It is such a pleasure to listen and learn without references to 'silicone valley, fortune 500 and booodahh'. Maybe it's my love of yoga, mindfulness and the growth mindset or maybe it's because I have a small business ... I'm not too sure but this book really spoke to me and his inspired a whole new perspective and I hope it moves and inspired you too.

Thank you Polly for sharing your knowledge, wisdom, fresh but old ideas. Bringing together the principals of yoga and business has been a huge light bulb moment for me. I can easily apply your advice to my role in the corporate world and also to my new small side hustle to build a good side hustle with heart. You have also helped me to see my yoga practice in a whole new light and since picking up your book I've started daily yoga and/or meditation which is helping my mindset immensely. I learned a lot of what I already knew deep down but never actually recognised. I loved this book. I like the authors to read their own books too as it adds a richness, although the author did seem to stall over her own wordiness at times. Easily forgiven though as the content was valuable.
