About this listen

Ansel Bray, an artist known around the world for his tragic hiatus from the canvas. Ansel Bray, a broody, handsome man not known by me, at all. Long dark hair, blue eyes, and dimpled cheeks. I've never met her, but her image is imprinted in my mind. An angel muse who inspires me to paint again.

There is something about him. Something that spurs a need to be as close to him as possible. A need to find out why. There is something about her. Something that draws me in. Something that urges me to find out what her presence means.

Why does the girl in his painting look so much like me? Who is this girl, and why can I see her so vividly?

I shouldn't fall in love with him. I shouldn't fall in love at all.

But fate plays her hand. But fate has other plans.

The lines of my life will blur. The needs of my heart will change.

What a beautiful mess we've made.

One of Max’s most beautiful stories but nothing will ever justify cheating! Even if the other person is cheating too and for this reason it wasn’t a 5/5 start. Other nice story even though extremely predictable!

Enjoyed the maturing of the story and HEA. The character’s were more authentic than many in rom coms.

Definitely worth a listen if you take the story line for the fiction it is. Yes it’s far fetched but who cares- this love story definitely made me feel all the warm and fuzzies. Good narration & likeable characters. I sure do love me some Max Monroe

Crazy far fetched but still very enjoyable

I have listened to many of the authors books, and I think this one was one of the most brilliantly put together stories. I look forward to reading more with all the fun and entertainment he provides.

Sweet, sweet story or love that was meant to be. I thoroughly enjoyed this light hearted listen. It’s a good one to enjoy on a wet afternoon.

I really enjoyed this from the very beginning

The idea for the story was very interesting and had so much potential, instead this is a silly story a high schooler would write. 34 year old world renowned artist and accomplished famous violinist in her twenties just doesn’t sound believable. Conversations are superficial and every third word in the story is “fuck” and every tenth word is “shit” . Luckily I got this book for free, because I would ask for money back

Preview was the best part of the story
