Wow i really liked this book.
I couldn’t preempt it, and it had a lot of twist and turns. Very different from any book i ever read.
The narrations are GREAT. When you get use to the accents.

I loved that I didn’t agree with the main characters decisions, those are the best kind of books i believe, because you learn the most about yourself reading them.

What an amazing story. I couldn't put this down and sad the story is over. Both narrators were in perfect character and heightened the experience of the story. The love Sophie had for her husband, willing to sacrifice everything and the ends Paul went to for Liv's acceptance. Truly captivating. Thank you Jo Jo...xxx

So glad to have read this volume. it was a departure from JoJo Moyes' usual style (which I find very entertaining); however the Girl I Left Behind was a great read and superbly narrated. For lovers of history, love, and puzzles.

Well what can you say about such a wonderful story on such a horrific time in history. Was a wonderful insight into another country’s account of the German invasion. Such strength of characters - well done to Author and Narrator.

I was confused by the switch from old days to modern day, I almost couldn't continue. It took quite a few chapters to drawer me back in & even then it was disappointing
