This book had a lot of potential to be a fabulous story but it was over in 55 minutes…. I’m confused

This is not even an hour long and you pay full price???!!!

Initially I was excited to see a short story by Freida M as I love her books. While the story started off well in building the plot. I felt that the ending was rushed and the actions of Stella to be out of character and a bit of an extreme reaction given the circumstances.

What could have been opportunity to paint a sweet Christmas was not chosen by the writer and also I feel it would have made more sense for Stella’s extreme reaction if she had found out her husbands actions rather than what she actually reacted to. I think a little bit more time could have been spent on the ending. Perhaps this story would have benefited from being an extra hour long so it could build up the relationships and back stories of the other characters in this book.

The narrator did an excellent job

Disappointing ending! Felt unfinished!

Was a very short boring story paid full price for a story that went only for an hour.

Boring and not worth the money

If I had of known it was that short, I would not have paid the money. I only get 1 credit a month with Audible and I’m upset I’ve used it on that.
Definitely had great potential and I loved where it was going!

Uhm.. I would not have purchased if I knew

It's an okay way to lose an hour if you are waiting for an appointment or plane but wait until it's on the free list.

If you've got an hour to waste

Would never have bought it if I’d know it was 8 chapters in total. What a rip off???

Worst book I’ve read on Audible

A terrible story. A story I have read before by another author .
I just can’t remember where and when I read this storyline?

I also couldn’t believe it was less than a few hours long.

The story was disappointing as I usually enjoy the authors stories. Not this one.
Don’t waste your money.

Also, if any other audiobook listeners know or heard a similar story line please let me know as it is annoying me trying to remember when I read it previously?

I have heard this story before
