Just excellent story and perfect narrators
This series is getting better and better in every new book. Bella Forrest knows how to write an engaging and gripping story, so full of reflecting moments as well as pure action to move the plot forward, so I'm really impressed by her ability to keep you locked into the story.
The two narrators earned a special mention in this forth book for their performance: it was just outstanding!!!! Really excellent job! Naturally, I can't wait to get the next audio book in the series.

Waste of time, awful series
This series has the worst writing I've ever read. definitely not good fantasy. The world building and character development are mediocre and each book follows basically the same plot pattern.
The voice actors are pretty good, I would listen to something with them again, as long as Bella Forrest didn't write it.

is it just me?
I feel am not a good critic because I could never do what these authors do. But, for me, these books are only ok I cant help but wonder if the authir made Violet and Vigo a bit naive or is the author a bit naive? I probably wouldn't continue the series but I already have the book.

Slower paced, but realistic choices make it relate
This one actually seemed slower than the others so far, if that's possible. All of the action seemed to come in too small spurts, but I like the way it ended. Violet and Viggo's realistic characters and choices are the only reasons I still listen for the most part, but overall it's a good story. I can't wait to see how the next 3 wrap everything up.

ugh!
seriously stop with the cliffhangers. these books would be infinitely better as a trilogy. too much action, gaping plot holes, it is exhausting trying to remember all of the characters as none are very memorable to begin with. conceptually this is an awesome idea, but in a better writer's hands.
