Just excellent story and perfect narrators

This series is getting better and better in every new book. Bella Forrest knows how to write an engaging and gripping story, so full of reflecting moments as well as pure action to move the plot forward, so I'm really impressed by her ability to keep you locked into the story.
The two narrators earned a special mention in this forth book for their performance: it was just outstanding!!!! Really excellent job! Naturally, I can't wait to get the next audio book in the series.

Got bored

Too many crazy scenes and was a little too far fetched. I got bored with this series halfway through the book. It lost much of the luster from the first book.

Waste of time, awful series

This series has the worst writing I've ever read. definitely not good fantasy. The world building and character development are mediocre and each book follows basically the same plot pattern.

The voice actors are pretty good, I would listen to something with them again, as long as Bella Forrest didn't write it.

Too much fighting

And not enough of a plot. Disappointing. The repitition of the same stuff just ina different fight. Where is the clever writer from the first book of the series?

Got boring and lengthy

No longer interested in this series... Got boring and too detailed. Wish author would have used less detail and sped the story along.

is it just me?

I feel am not a good critic because I could never do what these authors do. But, for me, these books are only ok I cant help but wonder if the authir made Violet and Vigo a bit naive or is the author a bit naive? I probably wouldn't continue the series but I already have the book.

Slower paced, but realistic choices make it relate

This one actually seemed slower than the others so far, if that's possible. All of the action seemed to come in too small spurts, but I like the way it ended. Violet and Viggo's realistic characters and choices are the only reasons I still listen for the most part, but overall it's a good story. I can't wait to see how the next 3 wrap everything up.

Still enjoyed it, but...

The story still engaging, but there are so many convenient scenes that are there just so the MCs don't get killed.
I know we need them to survive so we have a story, but some of it was way too transparent.
I didn't enjoy this one as much as the previous ones.

A little slow, but still awesome.

I had a little more trouble getting through the slower parts of this book. But, once it got a little beyond midway, it got back to what I remember I loved about this.

I just started the 4th, so I'm excited to see where this whole thing goes. It's been a lot of fun to discover it. And I see a lot of people complain about the cliche story and predictable characters. I can see where they're coming from, but it's fun. A book doesn't have to be completely original to enjoy. Besides. Violet is easily one of the most badass female characters I've seen in a novel outside of Tamora Peirce books.

I need to know the end

I need to know the end but as with all the books but the first they get interesting 3/4 of the way through. IF it wasn't for Rebecca Soler I don't think I would still be listening. I love Soler!

Absolutely brilliant, what more can I say. I'm honestly so looking forward to the next book to see what happens. Written well and read well.
