There is very little story and enormous detail about minutiae of gardening, that I endured in the hope that something would happen in this soporific book. A ludicrous ending made me feel even more sad that I wasted my time listening to this awful drivel
The narrator is excellent.
Ashley has written other novels which at least have some story content - but not this one
Watching grass grow is more entertaining- to use a gardening comparison!
