The Sunday Times top five best-seller

One of ELLE UK's Best Audiobooks of 2020

Tiffy and Leon share a flat.

Tiffy and Leon share a bed.

Tiffy and Leon have never met....

Tiffy Moore needs a cheap flat, and fast. Leon Twomey works nights and needs cash. Their friends think they're crazy, but it's the perfect solution: Leon occupies the one-bed flat while Tiffy's at work in the day, and she has the run of the place the rest of the time.

But with obsessive ex-boyfriends, demanding clients at work, wrongly imprisoned brothers and, of course, the fact that they still haven't met yet, they're about to discover that if you want the perfect home you need to throw the rule book out the window....

This audiobook contains an exclusive interview with author Beth O'Leary and narrator Carrie Hope Fletcher.

Awful! Chicklit if that's what you're into...enjoy

I realise that I am in the minority here with the reviews, however I had high expectations and feel very let down. The characters "Tiffy" and "Leon" are one-dimensional at best.. she is "so pretty" as we are repeatedly told, and quirky and he is just torture and very, very dull. The story was an interesting concept of 'hot-bedding' - 2 people sharing a residence on rotation so never there at the same time, but wasn't the ending inevitable?!

The narration was jilted and the accents terrible. Hmm, I am struggling to find something positive to say.

**Spoiler alert**
The shower scene meeting was excruciating and not in the manner it was meant to be by the author portraying the awkwardness, but excruciating in the dissection afterwards in conversations with Tiffy and Leon's friends' discussions about it... we get it, he got an erection!! It was so bad I skipped from there to the epilogue, saving myself from enduring a melodramatic yawn-fest and also saving a heap of time as the epilogue was exactly what I expected!

Utterly predictable, chick-lit fiction and perhaps I am not the demographic audience for this but it was absolutely dreadful in my view and I couldn't wait for it to be over.

literally ruined my day, in the best way

Stayed up until 4:30am to listen, struggled everytime my timer ended and just couldn't resist pressing play again. Next day was ruined except that I had the comfort of the second half of the book to distract me. Haven't gotten lost like this in a book for years

Utter Shite

I only listened to the end because I wanted to be totally sure I could accurately review this terrible, tedious, predictable and unbelievable book.
The male narrator’s voice was so annoying I wanted to punch him in the face. Weak, bumbling idiot characters who you end up hoping die so you don’t have to hear about them ever again.
The female performer was good, although she could only read what was already written, so she could t save this sorry mess. It will probably be made into a movie worse than PS I Love You. Complete drivel.

Loved it

This book ticks all the boxes. The characters are relatable and I found myself going through all sorts of emotions. I was looking for something to listen to on holiday, something that’s fun and lighthearted with a good storyline and a healthy dose of romance. Couldn’t stop listening, absolutely loved it.

Unusual, fascinating, and a delight to read

I enjoyed this book a great deal more than I anticipated. O'Leary does a good job at building a cast of characters and throwing them into a unique and magical situation, and allowing us to watch them develop through the eyes of our two beloved protagonists.
The performance given by Fortune and Fletcher is also to be admired: each of them bringing the world to life from the point of view of two very different people.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for something heartfelt and a little bit quirky.

Did not want it to end

Really enjoyable performances, clever plot and brilliantly written characters. So sad to see these friends go!

Feel-good story... a bit too predictable

I enjoyed listening to the story even though the end is pretty predictable from the start. this book is more about the journey than the end.

the narration was beautiful

such sweet story told in such a cute way... It wasn't as predictable as some romance novels can be and had characters that were flawed in beautiful ways that made so much more real and loveable.

So good!!

If they don't make make this in to a movie/series I'll eat my hat. I binged this in two days. I can't wait to see what Beth brings out next. In love with the characters and how relatable they were. Love love love.

Didn't want it to end!

Loved it! Not an extremely intricate plot but nevertheless is still an intriguing story. Would make a great chick flick/drama!!! Am a bit bias on the narration performance as I love Carrie Hope Fletcher to death, her voice is so calming and I easily envisioned her as Tiffy, however I had never listened to an audible with Kwaku before but will definitely be keeping an eye out for more as his voice is so calming and relaxing too. Great Book! Would definitely listen again!!
