TLDR Pro Mara Wilson Neg Unfurfilling Storyline.

I've listened to Nightvale since finding the Pilot one day while scrolling Tumbler and have enjoyed almost everything produced by the team but this book, While performed fantastically its storyline never caught my attention in the way other stories in the Nightvale multiverse have.

Wonderful

All three books in the series have been great. However this one, by far, blew me away! A combination of the bizaare Nighvale humour and cleverness and this meandering tale of betrayal and revenge spanning generatikns. Love love it and want more!

Faceless old woman who live in my heart

A culmination of perfect writing, casting and performance. Both sprawling and personal, an exciting and suprisingly emotional journey through the life and continued life autobiographied by a woman with no face.

haunting

Narrated by a brilliant voice actress, written by a dynamic duo of authors, this audio book is utterly gripping from start to finish and will stay with you long after you finish it

probably my favourite yet!

Mara Wilson is perfect as the faceless old woman the secretly lives in your house. And the story is gripping - piracy, revenge, oranges, and secret organisations. I have enjoyed each night Vale novel, but I'd say this is my favourite. It has a different feel to it, while still very much feeling like a night Vale story. Would definitely recommend.

This appeared in my library unbidden... loved it!

TFOWTLIYH must have downloaded this for me, and I'm thankful (Ya hear!). Once I'd gotten over the shock of finding bees in my bathroom taps, spun to see the message on the mirror, and retrieved my phone from the carcas of a racoon on the front door I gave it a listen and loved the development, twists, and non-answers about that good ol' town of Nightvale. Great if you already listen, great if you don't as a starting point.

Wilson should narrate every book ever

i’ve listened to it every night since it came out, repeating it to send me to sleep, mara wilson’s voice has a soothing quality despite the horrors she’s narrating. would have liked more about craig, which is why the story didn’t get 5 stars, however i still really enjoyed it, if you can enjoy such a sad story.

i loved it

Even though I guessed few key plot points quite fast I enjoyed this story immensely. I liked the action, I liked the descriptions, I loved the composition of the book. I would like a little bit more of Night Vale itself but still it was a really nice story. The performance by Mara Wilson is flawless. A pure gold. I think I still liked previous two novel a bit more but still, those were really pleasant time. I'm sure I'll relisted it as many times as the other two Night Vale novels 🖤
