A downright dirty book with graphic scenes of spanking, caning, dubious consent, submission, and a great deal of hot, raunchy, explicit sex - and good food.
Listen only if the above themes do not offend you. You've been warned.
Punishment takes many forms. Seeking escape from her criminal past, a desperate woman enslaves herself to a dark trio of men who own an antiquated Louisiana plantation. Known only as Lydia, she becomes controlled by three very different men - malicious Preston, inflexible Kruin, and gentle Gabriel, all of whom introduce her to a world in which the lines between pleasure, pain, and shame are irrevocably blurred.
The plantation becomes both Lydia's haven and her prison as she surrenders to the desires of her unholy trinity. Lydia's submission is fraught with tension and hunger, but what happens when the outside world enters her dark, anonymous sanctuary?

Stuck in half a book that I wish I hadn't started
I really don't like this narrator so that makes it hard, but the book itself doesn't have much story. Girl skims money from work accounts for some reason - we never find out why and a guy who liked her in high school, but she blew him off seems to have some grudge. He is rich now and she comes to him and he gives her a new identity so she won't go to jail in exchange for her basically becoming the sex toy for him and 2 other guys. Some scenes aren't even "sex slave" worthy - more like rape or just plain mental abuse. They can't possible claim to have an attraction to her with any feelings because they treat her like they hate her and just want to humiliate and use her until a guy hits her and then all of a sudden there is concern - Please??? So letting another guy she apparently can't stand grope her butt hole is fine, but hitting her face is over the line. It's just a hard book to get into even if you like BDSM and ménage books which I do. The first book leaves you hanging so you're forced to read the 2nd even if you didn't like the first because I can't have half a story sitting in my head.
