Story
For sisters Robyn and Wren, nothing will ever be the same. The cities are burning; the world is in chaos. The dead are rising...and they're hungry. Safety? Security? These words are meaningless now. They fight, they hide, they run. No rest. No respite. All they can cling to is hope. Hope they can find others. Hope they can learn the skills needed to survive. Hope they can stay together. Their situation seems desperate, and the only thing they can depend on is each other. But is that enough?

Boom - this is how you do it!
Robyn and Wren go on a terrifying journey they hope will not be fruitless to rescue Mila, whom they are not sure is even alive, as a reader we know Mila is fighting for her life with Rod and a group of individuals known as Zefs (per the prologue). Kim Bretton does a fantastic job bringing these snarky cows to life as they face certain death with hope and inspiration!
(I love listening to these books as I game and do chores even if I’ve already read them multiple times too.)

Better than ever!
There is a problem with anything written by Christopher Artinian, his books are so good that you cannot concentrate on or do anything else until you’ve completed the book!
Then to top it off the audio books are read by the amazing Kim Bretton.
I LOVE this series. I never want it to end. I want to be adopted in to these girls family. I can’t get enough of their courage, sarcasm, wit and ingenuity. Their love for one another is incredible.
The world that is created here is at once a heart stopper, at times a heart breaker and can also make your heart race! Do yourself a favor and get to readings this series and the safe haven ones as well!

Still going strong eight books in!
The End of Everything: Book 8 by Christopher Artinian and narrated by Kim Bretton is another wow! Eight books in and it’s still going strong. Highly recommend this series if you need a new zombie read, have been following, prefer strong female leads, or want a great author/narrator team. Make sure you clear your schedule if you are new to his books.
What’s it about? After Mila fails to return, Robyn and Wren set off in hopes of finding her. They encounter new groups of good and bad folks, zombies, sibling bonding/some teasing, and more. I am loving how Mila’s character is unfolding. You will be on the edge of your seat for this one. It’s easy to get lost in the story and narration (in a good way).
The narrator, Kim Bretton, does a wonderful job bringing the girls and other characters to life. Perfect emotion, pace, and suspense.
I keep waiting to the series or any of Christopher’s books to disappoint, but it hasn’t happened and something tells me it might never reach that point. It is rare that I re-listen to a book, but once the entire series is out, these will be a re-listen for me. If you are just starting the series, I’d recommend starting from the beginning.
Parental guidance/trigger warnings: OK folks, this is the zombie apocalypse and it’s not rainbows, unicorns, and holding each others hands while singing happy songs. There is death, violence, not nice people, weapons, and so on. Language used: Sx20, Fx1

Excellent continuation
As always the author doesn't disappoint. The drama and intense action as the sisters try to find Robin's friend keeps you listening. You are sucking in your breath at some of the near misses as they work their way into the town to rescue Robin's friend. Just when you think there is no hope, a miracle happens. There are many nail biting scenes where you are holding your breath waiting and hoping that the characters make it through yet another barrage from the undead. The narrator as usual brings the characters to life. You are crying, laughing and even sucking in your breath as the two sisters continue their journey killing zombies and rescuing friends and strangers. I highly recommend that you listen to this audiobook.

Together the sisters can do anything!
This is one of my favorite series and It did not let me down. I really love that we have had the same narrator for the whole series. She does an outstanding job at creating the world of The End of Everything and bringing the characters to life. I am so glad that the sisters are back together again. I love Wolf, everyone needs a fur baby like him! There was action, action and more action. As always the fast pace of the story and great characters kept me reading into the late hours. I was a running though a variety of emotions along with our characters. I can’t wait until the next book! I recommend that you get the books and leave your reviews!

Robyn and Wren against the World!
Usually in a series with several books, I find that my attention wanes and I lose interest. That is definitely not the case with "The End of Everything" and its companion series, "Safe Haven"! Mr. Artinian keeps the reader entertained from the first page to the last and has you saying, "When is the next book coming out because I need it now!".
The intrepid sisters of the series, Robyn and Wren, have just been reunited in the new world of the zombie apocalypse. But, instead of things getting back to normal, Robyn is determined to find her friend, Mila. Instead of recruiting some of Wren's fellow Safe Haven residents to help in the search, the pair takes off on their own with Wren's German Shepherd, Wolf.
There is plenty of action and gore in this latest installment, but there is so much more. The love between the sisters carries them through horrors that can only be imagined and Robyn's promise to her friend will give hope to the most jaded of readers. I especially enjoyed the inclusion of Wolf and hope that he will continue to play a big part in future books.
Mr. Artinian is one of my favorite authors and he always comes through with great action scenes. Each book introduces another episode of horror, both from the undead and the living. Without spoiling anything, I loved the description of the Zeffs in this book and appreciate the author's imagination in this regard. I also love the sparring between the characters, which keeps the book from being a total horror fest.
The narrator, Kim Bretton, does her usually amazing job. Her performance has perfect pacing, perfect accents and just the right tone of voice from start to finish. I can't imagine anyone else narrating this series.
I can't wait for the next book and look forward to seeing what the author has in store for these kickass sisters and their friends. I just have to remember to buy some Pop-Tarts next time.

End of everything book 8
Another fantastic listen by Christopher Artinian and Kim Bretton I absolutely love these series and the blending of the 2 just increases the awesomeness of this series. My only problem with these books is that I have to wait for the next one to come out. This is a series that everyone needs to start not only do we get Zombies which we all love but we get several story lines from different characters and watch them develop .

Great read, leaves you wanting more
Just wow, this book had me holding on for a wild ride as I followed Robyn and Wren's exploits, and snarky humour as they raced to Mila's rescue. I was speachless at the ingenuity of the roof top
maze, and the lengths they were willing to go to to reunite, and two sisters become three. Kim's narration was fantastic and perfectly conveyed the characters and emotions, making this book unmistakable, 5 stars are just not enough! I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
