WOW!!!

I've read the books numerous times. Actually, I reread them every time a new book is published. While reading them myself is best, these audible books are great.
Once again, great job Terry!!!

should have listened the sample

This is the first book ever I won't be finishing due to the narration and the story so far.

I feel like the intonation of the lines the narrator uses completely miss the mark. instead of the regular feelings I get from listening it felt confusing because the emotions in her voice didn't correlate with what was being said.

The attitude the crew of the ship had didn't seem military at all and it bothered me.

I realize it's my fault for not listening to the preview but whats done is done.

Cannot wait to read the rest of this epic saga!

Between Terry Mixon's writing and Veronica Gigeure's narration this really sucks you in. Great characters put into crazy situation after situation. Kelsey Bandar and Jarad Mertz may be two of the best characters that I've read/listened to in quite a while. Looking forward to reading/listening to more of this series.

Enjoyed It.

I really like the story but do not like the reader. Her voice is too high for the multiple characters. And for Kelsey I really hate how she sounds. But again the story is good. I will continue to read the series.

26 hours.......a solid buy and a ok story

I liked the first parts far better than the last parts. Spoiler....once the little sister takes over it is on a slow downward glide slope. I will pass on additional books, but this 3 book set is worth the credit.

A fun space opera!

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This was a great space opera. It's a bit formulaic, but it was well executed. This was a lot of fun to listen to. The narrator was engaging and the 26 hours flew by. I was a little confused by the short story at the end that follows book 4, chronologically, that isn't included in this volume set. I actually stopped when I heard the spoiler warning until I can listen to book 4.

Classic sci-fi

I received a free copy of this book from the author / narrator / publisher in exchange for an unbiased review.

Earlier, I had read book 3 and 4 of the series without reading the first two books. Thus, I was feeling a disconnect, even though those books were good on their own too. But now that I received this omnibus edition for review, I read from the start of this series and then book 3 and 4 made so much more sense and were that much more entertaining.

If you like classic sci-fi stories and space opera, you should give this series a try. The series starts strong and keeps going strong. There is hardly any boring chapter in the books. it held my attention through out and was a very entertaining read.

The narrator does a great job too.

Classic Sci-Fi in the best sense of the genre

This is an omnibus volume with the first three books of the saga. It is followed by an included short story that comes with a spoiler warning - do not read the short before book 4 which is not included in this set?
I really enjoyed this saga and will certainly look into getting more volumes.
Well written and narrated. Thanks Terry and Veronica!

Rough start

the very beginning of this story has some it seems like too easy solutions to problems though it does get better and by book two I was totally hooked, the Narrator did a great job the first part I was not sure that I liked her but after a few chapters she seems to find her stride with voices of different characters.

Teenage fiction at best.

Couldn’t get through the whole book. It was extremely cliché. Wasn’t really a fan of the narrator either.
