About this listen
The Elephant of My Heart tells the story of when the author, Jessica Clements, was in hospital, aged nine. She was seriously ill with a head injury, and when she was lying in her hospital bed, recovering after the surgery, she heard a knock on her door. When she opened it, there stood an elephant! He took her into a magical world full of amazing animals and they taught her that her scars can be seen in a different way, because now they are sutured with a black panther’s whisker and held by a dragonfly! At the end of the audiobook there is a mindfulness visualisation, written and narrated by Jessica Clements, where you can meet the animal of your heart and start your own inner journey!
