Thw wonderful writer who is Andy Weir.

Absolutely love this writer. He is inventive and incredibly thought provoking. I started with The Martian which I have read at least 15 times. Must be the hilarious narration by Wil Wheaton.

Loved it!

I absolutely loved all of the stories. I found the end of each surprising & will be listening again. Absolutely worth a listen. The narrators were great. Had never heard of or read anything by Andy Weir prior, but will definitely be looking for more of his work.

Mostly good stories

I really enjoyed the majority of the stories. But there was one which started out with a step mother talking about how she wanted her step son—who she helped raise—sexually. I skipped the rest of that story in horror.

Listened twice in a row

Like with some movies, I had to repeat after finding out how each story ended!

interesting and fun

a series of short stories, very short stories some of them. the first was the best though. it's a fun format that suits audible, little stories to listen to on the train or while waiting at the doctor's. the pricing format for such doesn't really work as audio books cost a lot to produce. I would like to see more stories like this but that don't cost a credit (less than 2 hours of content). love Any weir though and read all his stuff. the first story here was the best and gave me high expectations but some of the others weren't as good, hence not 5 stars.

Best collection of short stories by one author

Short story collections can be pretty patchy but this one was consistent with its quality. Not one dud story.

Where do ideas come from?

This is like a workbook of Weir’s ideas. Love it! These are small, pithy and thoughtful looks at humanity.
