Tormented by the thought that he may be to blame, Christopher hears about a fairground diviner's captive "son" who can communicate with the dead. Despite his skepticism, Christopher seeks out the boy to find resolution. Veitch voices the characters with well-etched personalities - it's clear that he understand who they are, even if they may not know themselves. Listeners will appreciate his careful pacing, which allows time to absorb the details of this touching story.
