Story
What if we all woke one day to discover that every act of generosity was followed, soon after, by an unexpected windfall? If theft or betrayal led to rapid calamity? Within minutes, the effects of instant karma would be felt by each one of us. Within hours it wouldn’t just be ordinary folks trying to figure out the new order—it would be everyone from the President down. Instant Karma is the story of that day. An extraordinary vision, and early adopters are quick to capitalise on the new dynamics while karma change deniers vehemently dig in their heels.

Publisher's Summary
Featuring a delightful cast of characters, timeless Buddhist wisdom and His Holiness' compassion pervading every chapter, The Dalai Lama's Cat is simply enchanting.
The Dalai Lama’s Cat is back: irreverent, vain and as delightfully insightful as ever! When the Dalai Lama’s inner circle is set the task of providing His Holiness with a book he can give his visitors, an unexpected volunteer stretches out her paws.
The book is to summarise the four key elements of Tibetan Buddhism - and, importantly, to communicate how it feels to be in the profoundly reassuring presence of His Holiness. Who better to do this than his much-loved feline?
Through encounters with celebrity visitors and her own intriguing adventures, the Dalai Lama’s Cat explains all four key themes, not so much as ideas but as practices to be embodied.
Along the way she even gets a new title - ‘Therapy Cat’. If you have ever sought a summary of Tibetan Buddhist wisdom, albeit from an unusual and whiskery source, this may just be the book to get you purring!

I just love this book
This series came to me at a time when I was very anxious and suffering depression. The strategies and relatable lessons have helped me greatly. By no means am I cured, but I am coping much better and on the trend towards recovery.
I love HHC! The kindness, self absorption and journey of self improvement is so relatable. The best lesson from this particular book is to recall mind watching mind and to let go of thoughts that do not serve me in a positive way.
The Book is beautifully written, however, sometimes I feel the author/narrator does fail to deliver the range of charisma he has written into his characters. It is by no means and unpleasant listen, yet, I have heard better performances; having said this, I am mindful those were of voice actors, not the writers of the books.
I have, and will continue to, listen to these "tails" of HHC time and time again to remind me of the beautiful lessons I want to continue to implement into my own life, while also branching out into other Buddhist teaching works in order to obtain enlightenment for the benefit of all sentient beings 🙏

Brings it all together
This book completes all of the previous three cat books perfectly. As with all the story so far, this one is full of great wisdom, thought-provoking, and can only make one want to improve themselves. Suitable for any age including teenagers through to 80-year-olds. Once again excellent job David Mitchie

Purrfection
Another fabulous reading by the author in this brilliant series. I've listened to the series twice now (well one more to go) and each time I pick up new insights and my knowledge grows. If you are curious about the Buddhist philosophy this really is a great place to start. Highly recommended.

Loved it
What a great way to learn about the way of peace. I loved the voice of HHC. I was moved to tears in more than one lesson. I lost my mother when I was 5 so most poignant of all was to learn that she was dedicated to me while on this plane as I know she still is.

I love this cat!
As with the previous three books, there is plenty to love about this book with it's subtle and sometimes not so subtle references to how we tangle our lives with complications about things and events that we can't control or change. It's a reminder that we should take a deep breath, be kind to ourselves and those we encounter and just live in the now. Thank you HHC
