Another deliciously plotted, absolutely relevant page turner from the Master. Audio book exceptionally well done

Gerald Seymour certainly appears to know his stuff. Good story but endless repetition nearly kills it off. Still worth listening to though even if not Seymour’s best. Very well performed.

I picked it up because the author's name rang a bell from the past.
Unfortunately - for me - it IS from a past genre that developed over a few decades. I'd forgotten Seymour's forte:
Writing thrillers based on the premise that all Muslims are either fanatics or support those who are.
I know this appeals to many, but my ethnicity and sense of fairness just cannot go along for this ride.
And coming off a Slough House novel written by Mick Herron, brilliantly balanced, brilliantly written, this stands in sharp and sad contrast.
So, yes, your mileage will vary, influenced by your beliefs.
