The writing is great, and the Icelandic words help transport you to Iceland. The narrator is very clear and has a pleasant voice that easy to listen to.

The narrator was good, but being English, I sometimes lost my way with all the unusual Icelandic character's names. The 30s rewind function served me well, enabling me to listen to the chapters again, to catch up. I was nonetheless riveted right to the end. Now for the next book.
