Lovely

The hospital saga and all of the “scoops” are wonderful in audio! Another wonderful audiobook by Dyess. Loved it.

Story:

I’ve been waiting for this matchup since the second book. A high level of anticipation with each hint we got. However, I still wasn’t prepared for the intensity and incredibility of this book. It was amazing. Part of me wants to immediately reread it! I can’t wait to see what other books come out of Sweet Water.

A great book

I really enjoy this Sweet Water Ranch series. This is book 4 in the series and it is Sawyer and Georgia's story. Jessie and Jay make this book extremely enjoyable. Jessie wrote the beautiful story but the way that Jay narrates the book it just makes it all the more enjoyable. I started it late in the day and was up late finishing it.

Sawyer is Ford's best friend and Georgia is Ford's sister. Sawyer has always liked Georgia but he doesn't want to lose his friendship with Ford so he tries to ignore his feelings for Georgia. Sawyer takes all his money and tries to make a success of the ranch that he has bought. There are no buildings on the land that's suitable to live in so he lives in a small shed. He too, receives a letter telling him that he can inherit a billion dollars if he marries within 6 months and lives the rest of his life in North Dakota.

He takes out an ad on the internet and offers Danielle some money to come to North Dakota and marry him. He ends up in the hospital and Georgia has to take care of him, the farm and Danielle til he is better.

A really good story, excellent characters and the way Jay Dyess narrates it can't be beat. Can't wait to start the next book. The only suggestion that I have to improve these books is that they need to have a warning label that reads. Start early enough in the day so you aren't up half the night. I received my copy on Audible and this is my honest opinion

Denied feelings

A lot of insecurities about voicing their true feelings brought lots of stress to a couple that grew up together.
A very entertaining story.

Loved it!

Another great story to the series! This seemed a little more drawn out for the HEA but it stays true to character because Sawyer doesn’t express his emotions. I Love the characters and each story builds, so you definitely want to start with book one to really connect with the characters and enjoy the sweet love story. The narrator did great. He helped bring the characters to life.

Wonderful characters, writing and story line

I enjoy reading Jessie Gussman's books. This one was no exception. The characters were interesting and well-developed, the writing was superb and the story line was attention grabbing. All around a good book. On the down side, there was some questionable words - ie, frig, crap, darn - most people wouldn't have a problem with them, but some might, so I am throwing that out there. The narrator did an excellent job reading and adding various voice inflections. Was pleased with the writing of the book as well as the narration of it.

A Scoop of Scrumptious Storytelling!

Sawyer desperately wants to be released from the hospital. The doctor reluctantly agrees, as long as there is someone to care for him and to keep him from working himself to death on his ranch. He needs time to heal.
Georgia has had a crush on Sawyer since she was in school. When she gets snowed in with him in his small shack in North Dakota, the situation is made more awkward by having two other people in the mix; his mail-order fiancée and a man who makes himself Georgia’s uninvited guest.
With tight quarters and nowhere to go, things just might get interesting as they each determine what it is that they truly want.
Mr. Dyess’s low voice for Sawyer will give you tingles.

Clean Cowboy Romance

Story: 5 stars

Some really great scenes in this book! I liked Sawyer’s and Georgia’s habit of calling each other nicknames that ended with the word ‘scoop’. I felt like the pacing was good, just when I was about to get tired of the angst, it was gone and was replaced by a great last few chapters and epilogue.

It really does make a city gal like me respect the grit and schedule of ranchers (male and female alike).

I loved Sawyer’s stubbornness and how Georgia knew just how to bend just enough that she could get him to do what she wanted, especially since all she wanted was his well-being and happiness. But I also love how feisty she could be! These two really were perfect for one another.

I love Jessie Gussman’s books and how each epilogue preps us for the next book. I am looking forward to Elaine’s story. We’ve glimpsed her and her struggles for a couple of books now and I want her to have her HEA.

Narrator: 4.5 stars

It's a joy to listen to Jay Dyess' narrations. He just SOUNDS like a cowboy. He has excellent pacing and expression; his men sound like men and his women sound great. I could listen to him and never tire of his voice.

A sweet story. At times almost painful at the inability of characters to express how they are feeling. It is typical of ND Norwegians I believe, from personal experience, that and stubbornness. It was good to see a little bit from previous characters as well.

Jay Dyess did a another terrific job bringing it all to life.

Beautifully written,sweet,clean romance.

I loved this audiobook and I have no hesitation in recommending it!
Jay Dyess has done brilliantly, bringing this slow burn story and these characters to life.
I don't want to give spoilers for this. I want to urge listeners to dive in and immerse themselves in a beautifully written, expertly narrated delight of a story.
