Lost track of time

So I just started the book and just kept going for 9 hours, didn't stop or took any brakes and when I checked the book I only had an hour left. I was so absorbed into the world of peculiars that I couldn't stop listening. Thank you for this wonderful book and I hope to read and listen to the next one soon.

Another solid entry in an ever-expanding universe!

Not quite as exciting and enchanting as the earlier entries in the series, but definitely feels like it's building up to something bigger and still good to see there's more story available from this universe.

The series should have ended with book 3

Kirby Heyborne does a fantastic job reading these, as always, with voices for each character it is easy to understand who is speaking at any given time. excellent reading. with that said, Book 4 and 5 have felt very forced, as if the author was only trying to keep the money rolling in. the story tied up quite nicely with book 3. disappointing, and hard to finish. only tied together by the good voice work

The wrong ending

I didn’t like how it ended. But it was a good story. I’m only hoping it ends completely next book.
