Lucy Maud Montgomery OBE (1874-1942), published as L. M. Montgomery, was a Canadian author best known for her Anne Shirley series of novels. Montgomery went on to publish 20 novels, 530 short stories, 500 poems, and 30 essays. Most of the novels were set in Prince Edward Island.

The narration and the stories were fantastic!!!
That's why I was disappointed when the book did not play for the last hour of the Further Chronicles of Avenlea. Rung technical support but they were unable to help.

Unlike another review, I was able to listen to the whole reading provided
Not my most favourite performance and it had short cuts and restarts at times, but at least it was good to hear so much of the old stories together.
Shame it missed two of the series of the books but at least it is noted that it did not contain these.
