Really good!
I really liked this book! I’m more partial to another narrator for Swan’s books, but Clare Corbett was great nonetheless. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because I felt there were some unanswered questions, but nothing that makes me unhappy with the way things ended.

Beautiful, brilliant story
Intelligent, captivating story as always from Karen Swan. Intrigue and clever plot lines. Ive gone off novels that flick back between different time periods so was dubious that One of my favourite authors had done this but most of the the move, was set in the present day and small snippets from the past. I thought the book was well balanced.Another five star novel. Can’t wait for her n do one, you don’t evened need to listen to this at christmas. Very well narrated too.

Very slow and predictable
I found it very difficult to really like this book. The story doesn’t seem to unfold until past half of the book... both stories confused me and the Nordic names made it that little extra confusing.
