About this listen

For ten-year-old Lisa, life in the valley of Silverstream was ordinary and predictable, lit by one sun in a familiar blue sky. That is, until the day a second sun, Solara, blazed to life, bathing the world in its honey-gold light and banishing the night.

The new sun awakens a strange power within Lisa, marking her with a glowing sunbeam on her arm. She soon discovers she is not alone. Along with three other children who bear the suns' marks—Leo, who can conjure fire; Seraphina, who can command plants; and Finn, who can bend light itself—Lisa learns they are part of an ancient prophecy.

But the endless daylight casts a long and terrifying shadow. A creature of chilling cold and darkness known as the Shade has also been awakened, drawn to the new sun's energy, threatening to consume all warmth and life. As the second sun begins to weaken and fear grips the land, the four friends must embark on a desperate quest. Guided by a mysterious map that only glows in the twilight, their journey will take them through forgotten marshes, sun-baked canyons, and a city that sleeps through the day.

To save their world, they must find the legendary Heart of Solara and confront the darkness that hunts them. But they will discover that the greatest challenge is not destroying their enemy, but understanding the true nature of balance and making a choice that will not just restore their world, but remake it forever. They are the Children of the Second Sun, and the fate of the dawn rests in their hands.
